Witchking of Angmars height

How come when they Witchking stabs Frodo on weathertop he is about the same height as Aragorn but when he duels with Eowyn on the feilds of Pellenor he is about 18" taller than her. Perhaps you can alter your size depending on your mood in the Wraith world?

"The Uruks turn Northeast - they are taking the hobbits to Isengard!" shouts Legolas.
Now this has nothing to do with PJ making a Tolkien knowledge mistake.
If Aragorn, gimli and Legolas have been persuing the Uruk-hai south west from Amon hen, why would the Uruks be turning North...
