I have only seen the two towers extended edition dvd, it was very good veiwing. can anyone tell me if the other two extended edition movies are any good and if they make a difference to the veiwing experiance
I personally believe that yes, the Extended Edition is worth it as many scenes are added that help you better understand (especially as a non-Tolkien fan) what is going on and improve the movie as a whole. Unfortunately also here there are big differences as opposed to the books such as Saruman's and Mouth of Sauron's deaths. But yeah, all in all I would say get them, especially since now more than 4 years after the last release they have become rather cheap for example on Ebay.
I especially like the the EE for the Fellowship of the Ring because it has the scene of Gildor Inglorion in it. He is not saying a thing, but you can see his company on their way to the Mithlond. My husband picked up on one of the Elven gowns, the one Elf wore leading a horse with a child on it. He made it for me. Here it is Backview Frontview
