TFM Contest [all please]

During my history class today at the
University I came up with an idea for ours forum magazine.
I have thought of a contest which will bring me not only some useful information for
the magazine but also some ... other stuff.
Therefore, heary, heary: I make officially opened the first edition of TFM Contest.
Instructions:
There will be two words given and you may give your own definition for each of the two
words. The definitions must be original, not more then 300 words and definitely
subjective.
TFM Contest - I edition
Give your personal definition for FORUM and TOLKIEN FORUMS.
Good luck!
Hints: what is a forum? who uses the forum? why is a forum needed? what
are the good and bad parts of a forum? what can I do on a forum? etc (your
definitions MUST NOT include a concrete answer to the questions above, they are
only optional).
Prizes:
1st place: the definitions (along with the user's name) will be published in TFM (TF
Magazine)
2nd place: -II- (idem)
3rd place: -II- (idem)
4th place: a warm meal in a restaurant in Caras Galadhon
5th place: cookies made by Rosie Cotton
6th place: a pint of ale from Paladin Took
7th place: a small bag of pipe-weed from Bilbo Baggins
Deadline: November, 10

I'll make pretty short and simple.
A forum is a family.
Just like in a family you might have a nice sister, an annoying bigger brother, etc.
And just like one big family, it has its different relationships between members.
Just like in a family, life can be sometimes good, sometimes bad, but in the end the family gets over harder times as a whole.
Some members come, others leave, some stay.
Of course because of the Internet which is one of the greatest levelers in our world, the relationships on an online forum are a little bit strange sometimes. You say things you wouldn't normally say, or treat people otherwise then in RL. But in the end, the family is always there for you.

The TF is just like any other forum, only specifically Tolkien-related. It is different from many other forums.
Bigger forums are like cities, you have your own place there, and your own friends, and you don't really get to know a lot of the members.
The TF is a small forum, like a village. You know everyone and just about everything going on.
It depends if you like city life or village life in the end.

You should read the posts more carefully.
