He has a point. Just ask Frodo or Glorfindel or Gandalf or Eowyn if the Nazgul could harm someone.

My point was not to prove that the Nazgul could harm people. It was that it was mostly in the fear of them hurting you that did the damage. The same can be said with the dead men.

I agree...the fear of beeing hurt is itself a powerfull weapon

I would have to say The Silmarils, Grond and Angainor. But if it came to what weapon was worth the most I'd have to say Ringil, Fingolfin's sword. I say that because he did wound Morgoth with it.

Yet Gurthang did actually slay Glaurung besides countless other fell creatures. Plus he did most likely slay Morgoth with it at the end of Days, though I won't get into that...

Thats true as well. It's hard to put worth on these objects because they almost all played a part in the overthrow of Morgoth.
