wow...that is a hard one...
I dunno if it has something to do with the Swarves, but I guess we can make exceptions...
hmmm...roots...up up it goes...
perhaps a mountain
noone sees the roots of mountains
they never grow (well maybe only by tectonic movements, but there were no earthquakes in ME)
and...they go up up

well I thought about the "roots" thing because mountains are also sometimes called the trees of Aule...and I guess that the "roots of the mountain" is fitting, though I am not sure...

oh...nice
hehe...quite proud of myself...
hmmm...what could I ask...

I have very little body hair
Though elf I am not
The Orcs attack me seldom dare
Against them I always fought

Thats a really tough one TM.
mmm... I guessing its not a person as all dwarves had body hair (as far as I know). So I guess its a thing. Maybe a weapon or something.
I will guess the sword born by Thorin, Orcrist.

it almost fits
but...I said "I have very little body hair" so this is a creature not an object

Ok...a creature with very little body hair. Well, my first thought then is Gollum but I don't think that fits either. I'll have to sleep on it.

hmm...well...not really, but I'm gonna consider it correct
I was thinking about the Druedain, which are very oftenly associated with Dwarves, and sometimes with Hobbits, even though they are Men
and they do indeed have very little body hair
they always hated the ORcs, and fought against them

the Ents...do fit most of it, but again they have no body hair at all...
but still, I consider it correct

TM thats a bit underhanded. How can you consider 'Ents' correct when you were looking for Druedain???

Because Ents did almost fit the question as an answer and because my question wasnt really on topic...

well...anyway, there is a free floor
so...I'll ask something more easy to solve

I fought against the Great Worm
And I saw him coming as a storm
And even though I died
And suffered defeat
I also wounded him
And made him retreat

There is only one person who slayed the Great Worm.

Ah yes, I just re-read it.

So he didn't actually kill Glaurung but wounded him? Hmm...

Glorfindel- The topic of this thread is dwarves so the answer coudn't have been Turin.

The dwarf that wounded Glaurung but was slain by him was Azaghal. S I guess that's the answer.

ok...now I personally think that trivia on only one subject is not so good
I think that trivia should be perhaps on anything, and not only on a specific selected topic.
So I will open a new thread...with the changes made

PLEASE DO NOT POST HERE - A NEW THREAD HAS BEEN OPENED
