Hello all, just introducing myself. I suppose I consider myself decently familiar with the works of Tolkien. Mostly my curiosity with things beyond Middle-Earth has brought me here, as well as the fact that I participate in LOTR SBG. I love maps, especially those that I have not seen before. Unfortunately I have no confidence that the maps I have seen concerning places in Arda are correct. From what I have read no 'Tolkien' drawn ones exist. So I suppose that I follow the maps shown in the wikis and forums that seem to match up. Anyways hello, and I will probably post in the future on topics concerning 'unexplored' places such as Rhun, Khand, Harad, etc. (I have taken a liking to the fallen realms), im one of those people that need everything there and everything explored. As for LOTR SBG, again I like the fallen realms so this has further fuelled my need to explore these places.
Welcome Reyjaviik. I am sure you will find people of like mind. I too love maps. They add a richer, deeper element to any book written that has a wide range of topography included.
I too love maps. That's how I joined the forums too. I've been dying to get my hands on a huge ME map that includes all the places described in the books. And I'd like it to include the paths that all the adventurers took on their travels. So, anything you know of that you could add to the forums would be great.
The great thing about the forums is you'll find other info, discussins and fun stuff too, which adds to one's knowledge about ME realms and people and travels.
