Nice idea Arwen (being in the UK I'll stay out of it ofc ), and congrats to whoever wins the prize! Is this for your books (I vaguely remember something about you writing fanfic)?

You are more then welcome to enter Glorfindel. I have send videos and large cookbooks to my friend Lady Emmy Hague, who lives in Oxford. And yes,

Not FanFiction, a Novel, but yes, and whoever wins, will be mentioned in the Foreword. Anyone who has permitted me to use their posts, will be mentioned there as well all under their "Pen Name"

Earendilthegreat! Nobody send me anything last year. But if you want to try, you are welcome to it.
I am a stickler for detail. For instance, it would not do to just write, after a dark night of watching and traveling to just say :" The sun was coming up" I would look for a description in a somewhat more flowery or in-depth sentence. Something like:" As the night gave way to light, the sun was bursting forth in an array of colors. It was breathtakingly beautiful" would be the lowest of descriptions, if you would add birds starting to sing and a brook and the colors of the dawn, that would be what I would look for. The one making a Journey is a Maia in disguise and she would probably do a lot of thinking in her her, since nobody but her horse is there to talk to, which she does occasionally and receives answers from her mare as well.
It is challenging, but well worth the effort.
