Was just surfing the net and found out that Las Vegas is hosting a CinemaCon today (Tuesday April 24th, 2012 to be exact) at which they will be showing a 10 minute preview or teaser of Jackson's prequel to The Lord of the Rings Trilogy: The Hobbit!
There are more details at the Hollywood Reader online.
Check it out!
I think its going to leak out onto Youtube very soon so keep your eyes pealed and let us know if there is anything to see anywhere on the net and I'll do the same.
I can understand what the reviewer was saying. I have watched beloved movies of mine in "Incredible HD" only to have the feeling that I was watching a stripped down 'behind the scenes version of it. It seems like HD and this new 48fps concept eliminates the lighting filters put on them during the shoot making once epic scenes look like the "filmed before a live studio audience".
I don't know. To Jackson's credit he did warn the viewers at CinemaCon that they were watching a rough version of it, so once again I'll reserve my opinion until I see it for myself.
It was exciting to read about certain scenes that will play out.

I think I understand, Mr. Baggins. It's like how I see HDTV stuff. Because it looks so clear, the way the actors move doesn't flow the way it did before. Also, the picture is so clear that it's easy to see that it's a set instead of being filmed "on location". Before, with regular tv/movies, it looked more real on screen because it wasn't so sharp.
