I work as a surgical nurse while my husband teaches as well as coaches for the local community college. We have two girls.
I became facinated with the world of Tolkien through the Jackson films. I have not read the trilogy, however I love maps, so I have looked at Middleearth maps. It makes it so much easier to understand the course of events in the films by understanding where everything is located - or maybe thats just my take on it.
I have no idea what I've gotten into here. The ranking thing went way over my head. Oh, and I've left a couple of questions on the threads. Hope you don't mind.

Hello Saba. It is unusual for us to to have people join who have not read the books! My advice is to read the Hobbit first to get you in the spirit of things, before tackling the much heavier novel The Lord of the Rings.
