Perhaps 'Turgon' might have been better? That is the good thing when Forums are new, you get choice of the prime names. This time next year I doubt the name 'Turgon' will still be available...
Thanks for the welcome mouth. As far as the name, without getting pretty creative and not wanting to use names in the book itself, i thought a mixture of two of my favorite charactors would work.
Turgolfin is a fine name; it might mean "Mastery of Magic Skill" in Noldorin, or a Quenya name "Victory of Wise Finwë" adapted into Sindarin phonology. I like it!
