Ranking Kingdoms Forums

It only recently occurred to me that there should be forums for each of the Ranking Kingdoms. A lake for the ancient Elves to hang out, a mountain refuge for Durin's folk, a hole for the Hobbits, an island for the Numenoreans, etc. Basically places made exclusively for the members of each kingdom.

Cool...but I dunno if it will work considering our small number of members...
Am I the only active Gondorian btw???
I hope not...I don't want to talk to myself...

That's the entire point, to encourage members to group together. We could actually watch the Kingdoms grow. Each of the Kingdoms needs a ruler too. Like a mini-mod specifically for his/her people.

Who knows, eventually there could be cross kingdom competitions. Battles? Debates? Kingdom specific roleplay?

Just some thoughts buzzing in my head. I really think things like that would keep people's interest and spur activity. Just giving my 2 cents.

LoL You can use it now if you like, I do all the time now, but to answer your question, my work on it will be done in a few days. Then comes the tedious task of file transfer. So I'm gonna guess that it should be fully operational mid Oct.

Celethil - Your idea about Kingdom Forums..good idea and we will take it under consideration when we'll have more members. Kingdom Forums with one or two members in each just dont work. But like i said: it's a good idea.

If you build it they will come. The Noldor do not wait for the Valar or their kin. Peoples of Beleriand UNITE!!

As a friend of Melian, i am in a way like-minded to the people of Beleriand, but will forever hold my allegiance to the Valar...

Ah yes but you are Chief Maiar and may be able to oppose but not prevent the will of the Rulers.

The Valar are kin to the Black Enemy. Let them wait while the Noldor go forth and do the deeds of song.

Yes, but that is also the reason why i said that i will forever hold my allegiance to the Valar. I was just pointing out that i was/am a friend of Beleriand...

A faint echo of Gondolin, Engwar.

None of the Engwar know the beauty of Tirion. The best they can do is to aspire to such greatness through the teaching of the Eldar.

Cirdan still awaits the last of us to depart. We are still here and watching. Our time is ended but still we remain to witness the folly of Men.

well I guess Elves are indeed surprised of the way Men behave, just as they did in the first age.
You Elves never really understood why Men gave their short lives away so lightly in battle. You still probably consider it folly.

As much as I am enjoying this, I do believe it belongs in another thread. Maybe in Fanfic.

This sounds very cool. I'm not sure about it with the numbers we have now. But it seems that we are geting two or three new members a month, and I havn't noticed any members leaving. So maybe in a few months or so, this will be a reality.

I wonder how many people join the Slaves of Udun, kindom.

Would that be fair to the elves not to have a place to gather just because the gondorians are too few?
Would it be fair to the gondorians that the elves to have a place where to gather and have fun, while they'd probably fall into lonelyness?
Whichever way, Tulkas, I will not deny that my heart desire to know what you have decided and whatever the decision may be, I'll leave with it. What say you?

I love the idea of specific kingdom forums.  And kingdom battles would be very cool as well.  I say yes.

Well mouth of sauron, I found the place to ask. You suggested I join a Ranking Kingdom, so where do I go to do that? I know I want to be an Elf, but where is the thread with the application for that Kingdom of the Elves?
