Well...the idea of the topic is to post pics of yourselves.
I know it is not art-work, but as many members were very happy with the idea, I thought I would make a thread and see how it works.
Anyway, post any pics, as long as they don't break any rules of the forums

Anyway...I just found some pics of me in school, while working on a school project, our "History of Rock" musical

So here I am (the one on the right) with a friend, both dressed "70s" style



Now, here am I, in "80s" style...I know our outfits suck but the guys responsible for costumes weren't so hardworking



And lastly, ROCK ON:

Haha, it is in fact the effect of having a slightly rubbish webcam and an office with no electrical lighting in it

Olorin's form in which he walks around at present days; at summer 2005, when i was 11, staring at the sun coming from behind the one who took the picture. Whee, im 13 in 2 days ^^.

And, im not fat at all if you think that. Its just the sun which makes it look like that. Actually, im only 49 kg, which is less than normal

Good idea TM. Its interesting to see all the members and see how our preconceived notions, differ from reality. So I guess its time to whip out the mobile phone and show you the old Noldo.

Yup, as strange as it seems its true..But even the smallest can change the faith of mankind (modified version of the sentence ^^) because i need to go cut my sisters hair (shes 2 year old. )

I totally agree on that one...for example I was sure that Olorin was at least my age, but I guess you can never know
And yes, the Internet does have its own rules and it does change a lot of things

Rumplemintz? sounds like a herbs liquor, but I don't really know what it is...maybe something like Jägermeister?

Old????? You're only 4 years older than me. That's the problem with Men, they weary and fade far to swiftly.

If you're still drinking Rumplemintz you cant be that old. If he was drinking Jager he would be about 15 or 16 years old.

How go you people get your pictures to appear? Mine won't work here, and I've tried just about every variation of tag I can think of.

Just click on the IMG button and then type in your URL in the box that appears. But dont type in http:// since that is already there.

Rumpelmintz is 100 proof peppermintschnapps. I killed over a half a liter on my 40th, and got 5 more liters for gifts. It was a not so rememberable party, but I think I had fun.   lol.

So you need the tag. Its [img] url [/ img] Its not like standard html. And make sure you include http:// in the URL.

I had to add as space between the backslash and img in order for it to show in the post.

I tried that, :P 'twouldn't work. Mind you, my computer seems to have been mucking around with image abilities and such, recently, maybe if I try later it'll work.

that does indeed seem to be strange
I really dunno why it doesn't work...perhaps it has something to do with the internet browser you're using???

It's possible, I know some codes and things don't work for some people on Neth/Eonwe's forums sometimes. Our computer generally seems to screw things up though *g*

Thank you TM, I take that as a compliment. As I have had 2 kids since then (actually I was pregnant in that photo), I have been lucky not to have put on any weight.


New Zealand is an excellent country, but we have **** weather and have big earthquakes quite often.


I will try to dig up some of my photo's from the LOTR sites I have and I'll post them on here.
