Hello everyone. I was a member on this site a long time ago when the Lord of the Rings Trilogy was first released. I have registered again to enjoy discussing my favourite one, although that is a very difficult one to choose.  I really enjoyed the Battle at Helms Deep and the rescuing of Faramir from the fire in Minas Tirith by Peregrine Took and Gandalf. There are so many great parts from all the films to discuss in this forum.

Welcome back Isadora!

Yes, the Battle of Helm's Deep is probably the best battle in the whole trilogy, I prefer it to the battle for Minas Tirith.

Greetings Mouth of Sauron. Have been re watching the whole Trilogy again including the Hobbit, it has so many unforgettable parts in both. One I found mesmerising was Gandalfs confrontation with the Balrog when he states "you cannot pass" in Mines of Moria and you assume he will win, but at the last minute is whipped into the abyss and it seems he is gone. What is your thoughts on this?

Glad to welcome you back. I have restarted watching The Hobbit before the Lord of the Rings again. It never fades. They are about to go back into the Mines where Thorin gets taken over with greed when he spies all the gold and searches for the Arkinstone. This shows how he values this above loyalty to his kin. Will he come to his senses we have to wait and see.
