Greetings to you all.


Unlike many here I've neither been near the Plaza nor heard much of it. I've haunted another LOTR forum for some years and out of curiosity found this one and thought to check it out.


Anyway I've been a Tolkien fan since I was a teenager which is many moons ago. Or in Entish, many tree-rings ago. Hope to get to know more folks here and learn more of our beloved JRR and his world in the process.

A couple of tips - firstly you may want your own avatar? You can edit your profile to either choose a library image, specify remote image or upload one from your computer.


Greatest other tip I can give you is  - Stay active!

Slowly working on that avatar thing .. registered just before bed last night so didn't have alot of time to play after lurking here for a bit. :p


After 4 years and 20k posts on the other board I can definitely say that even a couple posts a day adds up. :)

Oh and yes, I really like Fingolfin in the Sil. :)
