Right here is a great new contribute members can give Tolkien Forums! On our Homepage about halfway down you will notcie a button say 'Vote for us at Tolkien top 100'. We would ask you members to click this once a week, just once, perhaps after you have voted at the poll and procede to vote for Tolkien Forums.


How do i vote?

Well click the button mentioned on our Homepage then you will have two options - 'enter with voting' and 'Enter without voting'. Choose 'Enter with voting' and find Tolkien Forums. It has an attached banner so should be easily visible. We should be on the homepage but if not select 'Communities' from the dropdown menu.
Click on Tolkien Forums link or banner and you have effectively voted for us! Also we would like you to rate us and review us if you have time.


Please Vote either on a Monday or a Tuesday of each week. It takes about 40 seconds to do from your standard internet Homepage. It will bring more members!

I will most surely spare but 40 seconds a week if it means getting more visitors and staying top in the best Tolkien link directory on the web! Count me in and I am sure most dedicated members will agree.

I mean I will vote, no worry, but...hmmm...only mondays and tuesdays?

I will definately vote! TM - he did not say only mondays you can vote when you want, but Mondays and Tuesdays are best becuase sunday is probably when the vote counts are re-started.

that is a good idea and I agree
now...if I was a beginner in tolkien's world without knowing much about all the different sites there I would indeed personally join the one on top of the list.
the place does matter a lot...that is the truth

I would say that I have noticed a guest or more every 15 minuites at least, usually sooner. The new 'Aredhel' (sp) probably joined us through there.

It seems as though Planet-Tolkien overtook us some time but now with my vote we are back in the lead by about 5. Come on guys, we need your votes.

Ok, come one people. A new voting week. Try and vote every day if you can, we need to stay relatively high. Once in the morning before you log onto the ste, not too hard, takes about 20 seconds from the TF homepage.

Yeah we were first last week with a wopping 117 votes followed by planet-tolkien with about 106. However both sites admit they were cheating so we are keeping it legit this week, vote as often as you can though.

Well I suppose voting, then exiting the internet, then go back on and votre again, or something like that. The only thing thats foolproof is something that is foolproof, and that is seldom foolproof.

We are roughly 4th down on the Tolkien top 100 list and 6th down on the middle-earth top 100, we just need 2 more votes a day to increase both positions by 1 place!

A fair few people are joining, I would say at least 20-25 in a month. They do tend to be inactive though.
