Some of you may know but polls had to be taken off the homepage of the site becuase of inactivity to them. Now we have reach a substancial amount of members we feel they ought be reinstated. polls will be changed weekly and some are quite in-depth needing thought rather than an obvious statement as on other site polls.
Please post saying if you would vote at polls of they were brought back.

I agree, I never agreed with some saying that, for example, the plaza had 80000 members...out of which 70000 were inactive I believe it should be a right to be here, so I would say this should be done. But first, the members that stayed inactive should be announced by e-mail.# Nonetheless, good idea!
I will definately vote. After all its only one click of the mouse a week! I hope these are polls that you actually need to think about before you vote.
I'll vote on polls that pique my interest, but I won't if I don't feel like there is a reason for me to be voting in the first place (which would basicaly defeat the purpose of the polls in the first place, since random votes would skew the results anyways).
Well thank you for your reception members. Tolkien polls have now been reinstated on the Tolkien Forums homepage here - please use them as much as you are able.
I believe things like that get discussed in the Ring of Doom council. However you need to be a Maiar or Valar for that to happen, and that title scarecely comes along.

Yes, I hear dedication is required, particularly for Valar positions. Only a few select few are up to the job. Still I think it would be good being able to access all the private forums and have power over the other members. And also, dpending on what Ainur your appointed you can even have power over other admins - see the FAQ center, sub catagory - 'Other FAQ'.
