Hello, I'm Stefano and I'm from Italy, so I 'm sorry for my imperfect english xD I've started reading Tolkien last summer and I love his books since that moment. I've read The Lord of The Rings, The Hobbit and The Silmarillion, but I gonna read other books because Tolkien's books are wonderful :D I'm intersted in sharing my opinions despite my language!
Hope you will find this site useful. We have just recently started a Book Club and are still discussing Chapter 1 of LOTR, so if you wish to join, that would be great. There are many other things here, too.
And don't worry too much about the language - you are not alone in being a non-native English speaker here. I admit I do feel puzzled (occasionally), when people use informal language. This doesn't happen too often though; and when it does, it actually helps extend my vocabulary...
Welcome To the Tolkien Forums. This is a great place to discuss and enjoy your opinions on Tolkien and his works. There are lots of topics and resources here. And folks will be glad to hear from you and can be very helpful if you want it.
Stefano please feel welcome here. Don't sweat (meaning don't worry) about the language ... we have many members from other lands and cultures ... all are welcome here. If I can help in any way please don't hesitate to ask ... about navigating the site, or in using the Forums, or anything ... the same was done for me when I first came here. There are the threads, private messaging, our chat box, and many ... many ... topics where your input will be most welcome.
Please feel free to share things like your favorite characters (mine are Fingolfin, Gandalf, and Sam), your favorite book (mine is The Fellowship of The Ring), or even weapon (mine is "Sting"). My point is it is OK to let people know who you are.
Again welcome.
Bear

Welcome and well met! I echo the welcome of the other members here. There are plenty of areas in this Forum to discuss whatever might come to your imagination as far as Tolkien's works are concerned...so just jump in anywhere and don't hold back. If you need any help navigating or finding something here let me know and I will help if I can.
Very pleased to have you on the forums. As Lorelline said, do not worry about your English. And if you have any questions or want clarification/help on something, just ask.
I hope you have fun on here :)
Laurelin
PS I know a small amount of Italian and hope to learn more.
