Hello fellow Tolkien fans,

I have been a Tolkien fan only for about a year (partially due to being young in years) and join the forum to discuss his writings.

My name is a play on words of The Fellowship Of The Ring Chapter 3 entitled: 'The Ring Goes South' (as I'm sure most of you know).

I also do like Peter Jackson's LOTR Film adaptions (particularly The Fellowship Of The Ring).

Welcome to The Tolkien Forums!

My favourite character at the moment is Gandalf, followed (closely) by Samwise and Aragorn.

Welcome Headingsouth! My favourite character is probably Gandalf as well, I'd imagine he probably rates as most peoples favourite on average.

Welcome and well met Headingsouth!

I hope you stick around for a while and peruse the threads and breathe life into some of the older ones. A fresh perspective is always welcomed around here. And as you say you are a newer fan of Tolkien you'll find plenty of Tolkien appreciators of all levels and minds who will be willing and capable of answering even the toughest questions you might have.

I have been a member here since August of 2011 and I have learned so much from the members of this site. This forum is truly a treasure. The members here are wise and fun and most of all; Knowledgeable.

So dig in...find a topic...or create one of your own. It is a pleasure to have you aboard.
