Hello everyone!!

I want to thank everyone that is behind this site, and to all of those that post so much useful information in the forums!! I am a big J.R.R. Tolkiens fan but I am not that experienced that many of you guys and girls are!!

I will begin my journey into his world in 2 days when I get the Simarillion! After that I will continue with the Hobbit, and LOTR books. I am, like many black metal fans and bands, very interested in J.R.R. Tolkien's great and dark world of Middle-Earth! I have always loved the movies by Peter Jackson, but the true interest in Middle-Earth came when I started to read lots and lots of information about each race, legends, places and such.. Then I watched the movies again, and I thought: "Hey! I know why that happened!! I know why Gandalf has that red ring! Aragorn was raised by Elrond! Wow, I did not know that". I have read lots about what happens in the books, but it will be fun reading Tolkiens own words! Allthough many of the English words used in the books are abit difficult for me to read since I haven't heard them before and I am from Norway, I will take on the challenge of reading the books in English, rather than in a Norwegian-translated book! They also translates the names of the characters! (Frodo Baggins is Frodo Lommelun in Norwegian)


But hey, we all have to start from somewhere right? =)
I am especially interested in the dark forces, and their history. Balrogs, Nazgûls, Dragons and such. And without making my post too long and boring, I have one question:

It is said about a great final battle, where Morgoth and Sauron returns, as well as Isildur and the rest of the fallen heros and villains, which was gonna take place sometime in the future. Is this true? If yes, where in the books does it say, and can anyone post more information about this event? If no, Please call me a drunk newbeginner from Hardbottle, and smack me in the back of the head while you say out-loud in a Gandalf-ish voice: "You fool!"

And by the way, where can I download the great flute (spell?) song that is played on the main page? It's beautiful!
