Hi

Hi to you all :D. I just love the whole universe Tolkien has created. The first book that I read of his was Lord of the Rings and that was it. I was hooked. Looking forward to participate in debates with other Tolkien fans ! =)

Hello and welcome, Basti. Hope you will like it here. It has been at a slower end lately but there are still many topics to explore. Maybe you can share with us who is your favorite character and which story you like the most?

Basti

Welcome and well met. If you enjoy exploring the many wonderful facets of Tolkien's work in The Silmarillion, Lord of the Rings and others then you have definitely come to the right place.

From my experience, the members of this site are helpful and knowledgeable. I remember, when first coming to this site, I dove into a discussion that was dormant for sometime and many members jumped back in as well. Sometimes it takes a new voice to revitalize old topics but feel free to do that anywhere that catches your attention. ..

Looking forward to seeing your posts in the future.

At the moment a Book Discussion is going on about the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I think it is on Book Two of the Fellowship of the Ring, Chapter 1: Many Meetings.

Follow it by going to the Forums Main Page>Tolkien Book Forums>LOTR books>LOTR book discussion Book I (This one is from the Fellowship of the Ring...you can look up each chapter and chime in at the bottom of the thread on any of the chapters you wish or you can choose to catch up with us on book two by choosing)>LOTR discussion Book II.

Read what our member said about it and be the first to comment with ideas, support or questions you may have from the chapter.   When you feel comfortable enough, volunteer to lead the discussion on the next chapter (or following chapters).

See you out there

and again,

Welcome and well met.

Basti, as Moderator, it should have been me to welcome you, but RL has a way to get in the way. But my good friend Jado has taken over admirably as always. Welcome to the Forum!
Thanks Jado! How are you my friend. Call me soon. It has been too long
