There is a lot of material here and some very interesting threads. There are a couple of trivia games here, many discussion threads, and lots of information about Tolkien and his works. If in your exploration of the site you find an older thread that peaks your interest go ahead and bring it back up ... we love revisiting those and we love new perspectives. We love Tolkien and his works ... and new folks are welcome!

I hope you stick around for a while and peruse the threads and breathe life into some of the older ones. A fresh perspective is always welcomed around here. And as you say you are a newer fan of Tolkien you'll find plenty of Tolkien appreciators of all levels and minds who will be willing and capable of answering even the toughest questions you might have.
I have been a member here since August of 2011 and I have learned so much from the members of this site. This forum is truly a treasure. The members here are wise and fun and most of all; Knowledgeable.
